**Job Details**
Position Title: Associate Dean, Information & Communications Technology (ICT)
Status: Full Time
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
Faculty/Department: Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology
Campus/Location: North and IGS Campuses

**Salary**: $119,074 CAD Yearly

**What you will do**
Reporting to the Senior Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences & Technology (FAST), the Associate Dean, Information and Communications Technology, works collaboratively with the Senior Dean and other members of the administration in the development and implementation of the faculty’s strategic initiatives as part of the college’s academic plan. The incumbent provides academic leadership and management within the area of emerging technologies and applied research in Information and Communications Technology. They also provide academic and administrative leadership, supervision and direction to the faculty, managers, support staff and students of FAST in the programs included in their portfolio.

The Associate Dean ensures that the objectives of the programs are attained through effective supervision of teaching and learning; facilitates the on-going development, review and renewal of programs to reflect current and future market changes, the employment needs of industry and innovation and partnerships for emerging technologies. The Associate Dean also supports in a variety of capacities, the development of applied research initiatives related to emerging technologies. This will involve leading academics at FAST, working closely with colleagues at Humber College and other academic institutions to further enhance and expand upon existing links and collaborations with academic and industrial partners - as part of establishing Humber College as a world leader in this area.
