Branch Manager (Permanent, Full-Time)

Be part of a banking experience as unique as you are. Tandia Financial Credit Union (Tandia) is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to join our team.

This role will be based in the Hamilton region and will be reporting to the Regional Director.

**Job Overview**

The Branch Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all the operations of the branch, including growth and maintenance of the investment, loans portfolio, and cash operation, facilities management of the branch within the approved policies, procedures, certification standards & operating budget set for the year.

**Your work at a Glance**
- Directs the utilization of staff to ensure member satisfaction and service delivery standards are attained.
- Conducts effective team-building and staff meetings ensuring that the tenants of teamwork are maintained.
- Continually reviews current practices always looking for improving and bringing efficiencies to the organization.
- Develops an annual Business Plan outlining activities to be followed by branch staff.
- Provides updated corrective action to annual business plan quarterly and outlines how action will be taken to improve growth and development.
- Ensures the cross-sales of all credit union products and sundry services are delivered.
- Implements marketing activities to meet the business goals and objectives of the branch.
- Pursues new business opportunities for the branch.
- Approves credit as required within the limits designated by policy.
- Attends annual general meeting of the credit union
- Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director.

**We are looking for someone who**:

- College or University designation with minimum 4-5 years of financial services industry experience.
- Previous management experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong credit underwriting skills with current/prior established approval limits.
- Thorough understanding of the financial services industry and/or the credit union system.
- In-depth knowledge of policies and legalities regarding lending and deposit services and taxation.
- Experienced in credit underwriting, mathematical calculations on ratios and amortization schedules and credit union policies and procedures relating to banking requirements
- In-depth knowledge of investments including all registered plans.
