**Maintenance and Facilities Manager**
- Ensure that team members have required training to be able to work safely and effectively.
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for the maintenance department that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by encouraging team members to suggest new ideas and processes that can enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities with production schedules and other business functions.
- Ensure that the facilities are cleaned and well maintained.
- Identify and implement improved processes and support continuous improvement programs.
- Mentor the team as they strive to perform the perfect repair.
- Monitor KPIs to ensure that work order inventories, events, and downtime are within control limits and improving.
- Conduct audits to ensure that processes are being followed.
- Assist the implementation of the total productive maintenance systems.
- Support the implementation of new equipment through participation in the specification and FMEA processes.
- Train team members, production leaders and other operational staff on maintenance systems and processes.
- Interview and hire staff.
- Create and monitor expense, operational and capital budgets and provide regular reports on departmental performance.
- 10+ years experience in a maintenance leadership role.
- Maintenance Management Professional Certification, MMP, SMRP, CRL, or equivalent.
- Post secondary education, preferably a B.S. in Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related combination of education and experience.
- Extensive knowledge of computer maintenance management systems, TPM, planned and preventative maintenance processes.
- Passion and commitment to manufacturing and operations.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement tools and techniques.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to build and maintain working relationships.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytic skills.
- Ability to work effectively with peers to resolve issues and implement change.
- Organized and task-oriented, with attention to detail and follow through.
- Strong affiliation with Price’s Corporate Values.
- Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing or HVAC industry considered an asset.
- Experience with automation equipment and PLC’s considered an asset.
