- **Oversee the preparation and completion of all tax filings; including corporation tax (T2), financial statements, and GST/HST returns.**
- **Manage full-cycle accounts payable - correspond with vendors, process payments, maintain records of invoices.**
- **Manage full-cycle accounts receivable - prepare monthly billing, record payments.**
- **Performing monthly bank reconciliation for multiple bank accounts**
- **Oversee payroll processing and benefit plan management.**
- **Analyze operating budgets to identify trends, report findings.**
- **Supervise and guide fellow accountants & Bookkeepers in their day-to-day work.**
- **Support and assist in implementing process improvement initiatives.**
- **Other duties assigned.**

**Requirements**:

- **University degree or college diploma in Accounting or Finance.**
- **At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in Canada.**
- **Professional accounting designation (CPA) as preferred.**
- **Experience within the logistics industry an asset.**
- **Experience in managing a team of direct reports and work effectively in a team environment.**
- **Detail Oriented and Team Oriented.**
- **Ability to analyze strategies and solve problems.**
- **Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and other accounting software.**
- **Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey financial information to both finance and non-finance personnel.**
- **Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential for efficient financial operations.**
- **Fluency in English and Mandarin.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
