**Thought Leader Liaison, Canada This is what you will do**: The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) role is a fieldbased, nonsales commercial position within the Canadian commercial organization that will focus on commercial KOL relationship engagement, promotional speaker training and development, and supports the execution of promotional programs. The position will report to the Director of Business Operations and Strategy and is a fieldbased extension of the marketing team.You will be responsible for: Thought Leader DevelopmentDevelop and maintain KOL Engagement Plans for thought leaders Plan and execute National and Regional Congress / Meeting Engagement Plan with a focus on meaningful engagements with senior leadership and in support of marketing initiatives Support commercial KOL influence mapping initiatives by developing profiles Monitor KOL insights about current and future treatment patterns that may impact the commercial strategy and provide feedback for considerationAct as liaison between KOLs and Alexion for on label activities, including officebased crossfunctional colleagues and teams Assist in the facilitation and execution of commercial advisory boards through identification of key advisors equipped to provide compelling insights Align with field partners such as Medical Science Liaisons on complementary initiatives with shared customers Promotional Program Management & EngagementWork with Marketing and Sales Management to identify and recruit KOLs for national and regional programs Trains physician speakers on approved promotional slide decksDevelops physician speakers to provide high quality promotional educationEnsures appropriate and compliant execution of speaker programsMonitors speaker performance at live programsWork with marketing and contracted speakers to gain and synthesize feedback in support of the evolution of promotional programming content, case studies for potential publications, and other commercial projects Provides fieldbased training on speaker programs for when needed (focus on community based promotional speakers not covered by MSLs)Compliant Collaboration with Regional Field TeamProvides input and support in developing account plansProvides fieldbased training when neededAddress customer service issues/identified needs and coordinate crossfunctional action plans to address on label issue as neededBrand StrategyWorks with crossfunctional teams to provide key customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, and messaging, and program executionCompliance & IntegrityWorks with the highest degree of professionalism and in accordance with the companys code of Ethics and Business ConductYou will need to have: 5 plus years work experience in academia, medical or bio/pharmaExperience in a combination of one or more of the following areas: product marketing, field sales, or thought leader engagementWorking knowledge of Thought Leader engagement practices.Clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge and aptitude in complex disease statesDemonstrated ability to execute against strategic and tactical plans under short timelinesEffective verbal and written communication skills and organizational abilitiesSelfdriven with strong organizing and planning skillsHighly collaborative with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProven ability to manage large geographical territory Valid drivers license and clean driving record.Travel requirements: Willing to travel >50% of the time including significant overnight and weekend travel We would prefer for you to have: Bachelors Degree in a relevant fieldGraduate degree (MSc, MSN, MBA)Prior experience and/or relationships within the rare disease areaPrior experience in Marketing or thought leader engagement strongly preferredBilingual (English/French) #LIRemote
