**Who We're Looking For**:
We’re looking for an ambitious Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team.

The role is focused on supporting the medical and scientific needs of healthcare practitioners (HCPs) and thereby supporting the corporate objectives. The MSL is the field-based advocate of BioSyent Medical Affairs team, who drives the implementation of the Company’s Medical Affairs plans related primarily to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) engagement and data dissemination.

**Some of Your Key Responsibilities**:
**Scientific Engagement**
- Serve as a liaison between HCPs and BioSyent Medical Affairs team.
- Ensure scientific exchange with HCPs by fostering credible, fair, and balanced medical and scientific communications.
- Present clinical and disease state information to a variety of audiences (KOLs, HCPs, hospital/decision making teams, etc.) upon requests.
- Develop and maintain “peer-to-peer” scientific relationships with key leaders in healthcare, academia, payer, and government organizations per strategic territory plans and as requested by KOLs, including the management of strategic scientific partnerships and scientific exchange.
- Ability to assess scientific data and translate the knowledge into easily communicable messages tailored for different internal and external stakeholders.
- May be involved in responding, within defined timelines and industry standards, to patients' clinical inquiries about BioSyent products and their field of activities, to patients/HCPs reporting adverse events to gain information required to and fill necessary reporting forms, and/or to unsolicited scientific inquiries from HCPs and other stakeholders received by BioSyent Medical Affairs team.

**Medical Leadership and Strategic Planning**:

- Partner and collaborate with internal business partners to facilitate ongoing exchange of clinical information and insights.
- Communicate key medical insights, opinions, and feedback from KOLs/HCPs with BioSyent Medical Affairs team to support refinement of medical strategies.
- Develop scientific communication materials (e.g. slide presentations, etc.) for presentations to HCPs.
- Develop/increase knowledge of medical literature and critical appraisal of scientific publications.
- Conceptualize, organize, chair, and implement medical-scientific events.
- Develop scientific advocacy with healthcare providers and thought leaders around BioSyent products.

**Your Competencies and Skills**:

- Master’s degree in life sciences or similar degree is the minimum requirement.
- A doctoral degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a field based MSL in pharmaceutical industry is required. May be balanced against a strong clinical and/or scientific background in a relevant therapy.
- Experience in delivering oral presentations within the healthcare profession to both large and small audiences.
- Ability to identify, profile, and engage with internal/external stakeholders, and create appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
- Ability to articulate Medical Affairs practices to core business functions.
- Ability to define how to move from current-state to desired-state through the formulation of objectives and priorities, consistent with the long-term interests of the organization.
