**Job Description**:
Responsible to provide all Facility coordination services towards nominated Canadian site within the terms of facility management requirements this would be include but not limited to consultation on site alteration, vendor presentation, vendor engagements, engaging an architect, city follow ups and provide best possible services according to each site requirements.

Interfacing with Internal Customers to Understand Requirements for Products and Services. Drive Compliance Requirements for Suppliers under Contract

Supporting Organization’s Procurement Systems Supporting various purchasing projects

The Facility Coordinator will assume nominated Canadian Facilities leadership role in operational selection, supplier negotiations and administration of complex site alterations and/or build ups, plus service maintenances.
- Management of the operation and maintenance of the Full-Service Facilities. The coordinator will use SGS preferred suppliers to maintain the facility. The Coordinator will manage the process by which the Full-Service Facilities are operated and maintained in a safe, clean and neat condition, and perform or manage Contractors’ (defined below) performance of all service, maintenance and repairs necessary for the operation and maintenances. These tasks will be performed in accordance with applicable law and in accordance with directions given by Client (SGS business units located at the facility).
- Use of Third-Party Contractors. Operation, maintenance and repair tasks cannot reasonably be self-performed by the staff but will be assigned to third party contractors (“Contractors”) who are retained and paid by Client under a Managed Contract. The coordinator will advise when the use of a Contractor (as opposed to self-performance) is appropriate. His/her role with respect to Contractors will consist of:

- Coordinating and administratively managing the delivery or performance on both goods and services.
- Reviewing Contractors’ invoices for work that is coordinated by Procurement and its required processes and recommending payment (or non-payment, as the case may be) of those invoices to Client in time for Client to timely pay such invoices.
- Notifying Sr. Facility Manager as soon as possible if he/she detect that a Contractor is in breach of its contract with Client or that there are other problems with Contractor’s performance,
- Assisting Client in asserting and enforcing its rights and remedies against Contractors and in resolving issues and disputes, if any, with the Contractors.

**Main responsibilities**
- Provide day-to-day management of services for the operation and maintenance of the Full-Service Facility(ies) and facility maintenance.
- Create and follow up on corrective work orders as necessary, monitoring of work order completions - including follow up with site contacts.
- Develop relationships with key representatives of Client in supporting Client’s facility management goals and objectives.
- Maintain client satisfaction with delivery of assigned duties and meet with Client’s operations management team on a monthly basis to provide status and updates.
- Monthly report on site performance to be sent to Sr. Facility Manager.

- Minimum Post-Secondary education.
- Diploma or Certificate in Facility Management
- 10 years business experience in a procurement related role

- Exceptional customer service, client support, and business service consulting skills.
- Proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
- Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
- Ability to work well with others & independently.
- Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure.
- Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
- Travel to other SGS locations or client locations may be required from time to time.
- Ensures full compliance with the company’s Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.
