Integrated Accounts Receivable Associate

Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital are actively seeking applicants for a Full Time, Integrated Accounts Receivable Associate position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Complete the balancing of cash and cash receipts on a daily basis.
- Complete monthly processing of computerized HRCM AR OHIP billing for diagnostic outpatient services and follow-up of rejected claims.
- Process ambulance call reports for billing.
- Prepare delinquent accounts for collection through outside agency.
- Complete daily entry of charges and/or receipts to both patient and miscellaneous accounts.
- Prepare billings to WSIB, other insurances, Ministry of Health for interprovincial billings etc.
- Complete daily printing and preparation of invoices to be mailed.
- Calculate and prepare billings to outside agencies.
- Daily communication with clients, insurance companies etc. to obtain correct/missing information required for billing purposes.
- Reconcile remittance statements as received.
- Month end balancing and reconciling of accounts.
- Review and evaluate aging accounts on a regular basis.
- Ensures patient safety and infection prevention and control relating to the position.
- Commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications Required**
- Post-Secondary certificate with emphasis on clerical and business training or equivalent is required
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar position is required.
- Hospital accounts receivable experience would be considered an asset.
- Experience with HRCM would be ideal.
- Knowledge of general accounting processes relating to reconciliation of accounts and journal entries.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Flexible and able to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a positive contributor to the team.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, customer service and problem-solving skills.
