**Job Description Summary**:
STEMCELL Technologies is seeking an experienced senior leader to support our 3-5 year vision and plan to meet STEMCELL’s ISO product portfolio growth strategy. In this role you will be leading our manufacturing personnel, processes and operations associated with the in-house manufacturing of STEMCELL’s ISO products, ensuring the highest quality standards are upheld and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize output and efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring the scalability and operational efficiency of ISO manufacturing as we continue to grow this important suite of products, and to align, lead, and guide manufacturing operations at our existing facilities and at our future state-of-the-art facilities globally.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develops and implements the manufacturing strategy while providing leadership and direction to cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals and objectives for STEMCELL’s ISO products
- Manages and acts as executive responsible for ISO Manufacturing team in the design, build, and validation of STEMCELL’s manufacturing facilities in line with appropriate regulations, including maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines and quality standards
- Identifies, implements, and supports manufacturing initiatives, including a digital manufacturing strategy in alignment with company goals, analytical tools, and reports to effectively manage performance metrics
- Implements best practices to optimize production, reduce costs, and improve process efficiency while building, developing, and leading a high-performing manufacturing team with a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Effectively collaborates with cross-functional teams and establishes the annual operating plan for ISO manufacturing (timelines, headcount, vendors, milestones) that aligns with annual budgets and forecasts.
- Stays current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in biological manufacturing and promotes a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainability within the manufacturing environment.

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Extensive experience in biomanufacturing with 15+ years of Senior leadership experience in a medium to large enterprise
- Experience establishing validation of newly built manufacturing facilities for a medium-large size manufacturing organization, with a performance oriented mindset driven to optimize design and engineering solutions
- Strong understanding of digital manufacturing and process automation (e.g., DeltaV) including the use of electronic systems such as QMS, LIMS, MES/EBR, and ERP systems
- Must have global manufacturing experience, preferably with similar products in STEMCELL’s portfolio, with proven experience in achieving operational excellence and optimizing manufacturing processes.
- Must be a strategic thinker than can assess risk and provide forward looking planning processes with exceptional communication, problem solving, and decision making skills
