- This posting is for one full-time (maximum of 40 hours per week) 1 year contract at the Langley WorkBC Centre

**The Role**Responsibilities**
- Maintain contact with clients throughout OES portal registration to intake appointment;
- Assisting in completion of Client Intakes, Client Questionnaire and Guided Interviews;
- Review the Needs Determination assessments in accordance with Work BC guidelines for case management interventions or other WorkBC services;
- Support and refer Clients to access relevant WorkBC services and resources;
- Ensure that appropriate tracking mechanisms are in place and followed to follow up with client OES Applications
- Assist clients to access relevant services, including light touch services such as job search, employer connections or information on career planning
- Maintain regular contact with Career Coaches to communicate OES appointments and intake progress

Additional Duties:
- Participate in weekly team meetings, strategic planning sessions and performance management reviews;
- Miscellaneous as required.

**To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need**
- Post-Secondary degree, in employment services related field or equivalent level of knowledge and experience;
- Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) Certification an asset;
**Experience**:
- Providing customer service and resolving issues in person & virtual service delivery environment;
- Conducting & interpreting client needs assessments;
- Working with individuals with complex barriers and a wide range of cultural backgrounds;
- Providing Job Development Services;
- Providing Client Outreach;
- Experience using on-line reporting and communication portals/databases; preference given to individuals with knowledge of existing Provincial Gov’t systems (ICM, OES, etc.);
Also:
- Commitment to continuous learning and development;
- Ability to exhibit respect for clients, client diversity, and community partners;
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-based work environment with shifting priorities and duties;
- Knowledge of local labour market and trends;
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal records check.
