The Admissions Officer works in the Office of Admissions and is often the first point of contact for prospective students entering university. The Admissions Officer must be able to determine an applicant’s eligibility for admission to the University. Provide advice to potential students on admission requirements, process, program information, transfer options, visa requirements and related issues. This position holder must be able to evaluate transcripts, assign new and returning students to the appropriate stage of their program. Participate in the marketing team for developing strategies for targeting, recruitment and retention of students. Must be ready and willing to visit schools, colleges and events to conduct promotional presentations to potential students and sponsors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting interviews with applicants when applicable.
- Provide consultation with prospective students and sponsors about the programs and university.
- Prepare weekly/monthly admissions statistical reports.
- Participate in promotional seminars and information sessions virtually and/or in person.
- Actively participate in the marketing campaign to increase student admissions and target numbers.

**Job Requirements**:

- **Qualifications and Experience**:_
- A minimum Associates level degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or other relevant degree.
- At least 3 years’ experience in recruitment would be considered an asset.
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint). Ability to create simple reports and spreadsheets on Excel.
- Competent and comfortable working with large databases and completing most daily tasks on the computer.

- Exceptional organizational skills, priority management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong follow-through from start to finish on all projects.

- A knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software as required.

**Job Additional Information**:

- International travel if required will be reimbursed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00 per year
