**Hydraulic Cylinder Technician** (Heavy Equipment Shop)**

**Sureway** **Construction** is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, involved in; civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction.

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

**Schedule**:10+ Hours per day (day shift), 5 & 2, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

**Location**: Edmonton

**Requirements**:

- Personal Reliable Vehicle
- CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
- Valid Driver’s License (non GDL)

**Pre-employment**:

- Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements
- Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
- Fitness to Work Assessment

**Hydraulic Cylinder Technician** **Qualifications**:

- Journeyperson Millwright or Journeyperson Mechanic, may be considered a transferable skill
- Machining experience required is an asset
- Hydraulic experience required
- Minimum 2-years’ experience working on a Cylinder Bench - Disassembling, Inspecting, Honing, Repairing and Re-Assembling Hydraulic Cylinders
- All aspects of working on hydraulic cylinder and accumulators
- Ability to read outside and inside micrometers and bore gauges
- Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED
