**Job Summary**:
UniFirst Canada is looking for a Recruiter to join our dynamic team. This opportunity will be based out of our Mississauga, our Canadian head office, with a hybrid remote work schedule. In this position, you will recruit for various positions across our Canadian plants, branches, and Canadian head office spanning the six provinces we operate business in.

**Job Detail**:

- Manage a requisition load through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Work in partnership with hiring Managers to understand job requirements, recommending sourcing channels and posting channels.
- Support the location and management team on large projects and talent initiatives being rolled out to the organization.
- Support the development and execution of the Talent Acquisition strategy to attract and select the best talent.
- Partner with US counterparts to provide alignment for programs, processes, and procedures within the Talent Acquisition department.
- Act as an ambassador of the UniFirst Corporation brand, taking an active role to promote UniFirst internally and in the external market through networks, social media, university partnerships, etc.
- Able to strategically align and partner with external vendors to increase talent pool avenues, find diverse channels for advertising, and fill technical roles from new sources.
- Assist with the writing/amending of job descriptions to accurately explain the functions and qualifications of role.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as necessary related to Talent Acquisition needs in Canada.

**Experience**:

- 3 - 5 years of recruiting experience.
- Bilingual in English and French strongly preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills (both written, oral, and listening) as well as a high level of diplomacy and confidentiality will be required.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office programs is required.
- Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System required.
- Demonstrated experience providing a high level of customer service to all levels of an organization, including the executive level.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
