CGI is offering an exciting opportunity as an API Integration Test Lead in a high intensive Data and digital environment. As a senior member of CGI’s national practice providing retail banking solutions and services to credit unions, you will be joining an experienced and dynamic team of global IT professionals serving our clients across Canada and the world.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Leading the integration and testing of the data streams including data migration, data warehousing, reporting and API/Web Services
- Support creation of Test Strategies & Test Plans
- Develop and maintain test cases, automated scripts, and traceability matrices based on approved Test Scenarios
- Perform Backend Testing using SQL Scripts with SQL Queries to verify the integrity of the Database
- Perform manual and automated testing and generate Defect Reports
- Create Data Mapping and Data Flow graphs for the data transfers from various sources
- Facilitate the identification and preparation of test data
- Ensure quality processes are followed
- Execute system and integration test scripts
- Detect, log, and retest defects
- Participate and contribute to the Lessons Learned Sessions
- Participate in knowledge transition activities
- Communicate progress of testing activities to the program lead or directly to client
- Produce “client” and “internal” status reports
- Maintain a solid understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies, and terminologies
- Coach and mentor other members

**Nice to Have Requirements**:

- Knowledge and experience working specifically in the retail banking and/or credit union space
- ISTQB Certified Foundation Level with Agile extension (and/or other industry recognized testing certifications)
- Experience with (1+) industry standard automation test tools (ex. Selenium, SoapUI, Micro Focus UFT, ParaSoft SOATest)
- Experience in testing API/Web Services
- Experience in cloud testing using AWS or Azure

**Required**:

- 8 plus years of overall experience at minimum with at least 4 plus years working with API's
- Minimum 3 plus years of experience in Software Testing using Manual, ETL and Automation Testing techniques using with expertise in data migration, data warehousing and reporting
- Experience with (1+) industry standard test/team management tools (ex. JIRA, Micro Focus ALM)
- Experience writing SQL scripts
- Proficient in End-End Testing: including Test Planning, Test Designing, Test Execution, and Defect Reporting
- Banking domain experience and having handled large migrations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact directly with Client Stakeholders, Senior Management, and/or our technology partners

**Required Level of Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience
