The Employer Liaison is a vital member of the YMCA Employment Services team and is responsible to support new approaches to sector-specific essential and technical skills training to meet the shared workforce development needs of employers. The Employer Liaison works with local employers to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements for COJG. In addition, the Employer Liaison works collaboratively with other team members to ensure the goals and targets are met.

**In this role, you will**:

- Ensure compliance with all terms of the government agreements/service agreements including targets, financial and statistical reporting requirements, expenditure of contribution funds, provincial outcomes, program standards and program evaluations
- Actively recruit employers who would benefit from the funding opportunity, conduct onsite assessments, complete documentation and follow-ups with employers and participants; manage correspondence in a timely manner
- Design and develop procedures for tracking volume of activity and reports
- Conduct 3, 6 and 12 month follow ups on closed employer files and closed participant training plans, recording follow ups in files and databases
- Track and reconcile spending for government-funded programs with Ministry and YMCA database, General Ledger and tracking template to ensure accuracy; responsible for budgeting. Liaises with finance as required
- Maintain good communication channels and liaise with internal and external partners for effective coordination and routine correspondence and queries
- Maintain all administrative and financial records of program ensuring required reports are accurate and completed by deadlines as established by the YMCA and the provincial government
- Establish, develop and monitor relationships with key community partners and individuals to enhance the services provided to members.
- Conduct employer case-management including needs and risk assessment, contracting, implementation and follow-up as it pertains to employers training needs, along with monitoring compliance and delivery of training
- Provide documentation and handles confidential data in accordance with the YMCA and funder’s standards. Participate in the compilation of internal and external reports and statistical data. Quality assurance with respect to assigned tasks to ensure compliance with program standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned

**You bring**:

- University Degree preferred or equivalent experience in Career Planning, Business, Human Resources Management, Social Services, or related fields or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in sales/marketing, file management, recruitment, and job coaching.
- Experience in financial tracking.
- Able to provide excellent service delivery.
- Must be results-oriented, motivating and inspiring self and others.
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with members, staff, and volunteers.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Able to visualize, understand, and articulate YMCA outcomes.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and building a sense of belonging.
- Proficiency in data entry is required.
- Access to a motor vehicle is required for this position, as extensive travel within the Region is necessary for meetings, community events, training, and seminars.
- Flexibility regarding assigned work hours and location is a requirement.
