The Mailroom Operations handles all incoming and outgoing correspondence for all business areas and lines of businesses within the company. Within this environment, the Assistant Manager, Mail Distribution Services is responsible for all staffing and performance functions for the Mail Distribution Service team including

**What you will do**
- Provide direction and support for all department staff. Ensuring team members’ individual objectives are aligned with department priorities, conduct regular meetings with direct reports to ensure no operational issues and provide coaching and performance management and guidance for them to do the same. Responsible for all aspects of staffing; interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Privacy Representative: active role in privacy breaches when Mail Distribution Services is involved. This involves incident investigation, review of protocols and recommendations to ensure incidents are non-recurring.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure services are delivered in accordance with the contractual agreement and escalate when service levels are not met.
- Ensure daily departmental stats are maintained. Participate in budget process. Manage expenses within budget. Explore cost saving initiatives. Review, code & approve invoices. Ensure departmental chargebacks are completed in month.
- Active role in Emergency Evacuation procedures including crisis management and BCP.
