This job posting represents multiple positions within different ministries and at various locations across Ontario. **What can I expect to do in this role?**:
**Work Description**

As a Learn to Camp/Learn to Fish Program Leader, you may have the opportunity to work on some or all of the following activities:

- Prepare and deliver teaching sessions based on an established curriculum.
- Maintain, track, and manage all equipment required for program delivery.
- Maintain accurate records (e.g. equipment inventory, attendance records) and complete post-program reports.
- Deliver presentations to park visitors and local community groups.
- Support program marketing activities locally and provincially (e.g. lead promotional events, develop content for online posting and e-newsletters, take group photos and video footage, and support media coverage).

**How do I qualify?**:
**Mandatory**:
You must meet **all** eligibility criteria by the first day of employment (contracts begin between May and July):

- **Age**: You must be a minimum of 15 years of age. There is no maximum age limit.
- ** Residency**: You must be a resident of Ontario during the term of employment.
- ** Work Status**: You must be legally entitled to work in Canada. You are also required to have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) upon being hired.

**Communication and Interpersonal Skills**:
**Technical Skills and Knowledge**:

- You are comfortable working outdoors leading large groups of participants in a campground or lakeside setting for extended periods of time.
- You have experience with and/or general knowledge of the Ontario Parks system (e.g. role, priorities, rules and regulations, specific parks, and fishing regulations).

**Analytical and Organizational Skills**:

- You plan, organize, track, and prioritize multiple duties (e.g. overnight programs, community presentations, marketing activities, tracking inventory/attendance) and meet competing deadlines.
- You exercise your good judgement while working under mínimal supervision.
- You are able to adapt programs to changing circumstances (e.g. late arrivals, inclement weather conditions).

**Other Requirements**:

- Certain positions require that you have a valid Ontario G2 (or higher) Driver's Licence or equivalent. (Knowledge or experience operating a vehicle with a trailer is considered an asset.)
- Certain positions require that you have certification in Standard First Aid and CPR.
- You are willing and able to work shifts and weekends with an irregular work schedule up to 40 hours/week, and to work in an outdoor environment.
