**Position Summary**:
**Essential Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- PhD in Linguistics, with a specialization in Syntax (completed by the start of the appointment), or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Experience**:

- Minimum five (5) years’ of research experience in Linguistics, with demonstrated research in the syntax of Iranian languages.
- Experience providing project management support and ensuring projects adhere to ethical and privacy requirements.
- Experience supervising a team, including effective teambuilding skills and the ability to establish positive working relationships and foster collaboration to achieve common goals.

**Skills**:

- Superior communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with an ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work in a collaborative group.
- Ability to lead a project and co-ordinate research teams.
- Experience in training and monitoring performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, decision-making and management skills.
