Inventory Specialist

**Job Purpose**

Reporting to the Production Planning & Inventory Manager, the Inventory Specialist is responsible for the overall inventory control program including maintaining accurate records and improving our controls. The incumbent will also work within HAACP and 5S principles to find opportunities around the warehouse to reduce waste.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Oversee finished goods tracking, ensuring that all packaged beer is properly inventoried
- Work with S&OP and Production managers as a liaison with our contract customers to coordinate raw materials and finished goods.
- Act as forklift support for the afternoon packaging shift
- Analyze and maintain raw material inventory, ensuring adequate quantities are in stock. Liaise with S&OP Manager to order additional inventory of raw materials
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and quantity verification;
- Work with S&OP to design and implement systems to monitor and adjust our production plan depending on depletion rates and standing product inventory
- Manage fridge inventory, ensuring Material Handler rotates product to our quality standards
- Act as a back up to the S&OP Manager understanding scheduling and procurement as required
- Organize and present information in weekly reports
- Follow all health & safety requirements
- Comply with all company policies
- Other duties as required
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- 2- 4 Years previous analytical experience, using spreadsheets to track and decipher data
- Valid Forklift license/certification is required
- Business degree or diploma is preferred;
- Previous leadership experience, formal or informal is a strong asset;
- Experienced with Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain a G Class Driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
