Very concretely, you will produce healthier and better-quality food for customers and communities.

Your mission will be to:

- Support daily activities related to all operations and minimize downtime
- Communicate with operational leaders
- Collect, dispose, and maintain waste and recycling
- Be trained and required to operate different types of machinery in order to effectively complete required tasks
- Contribute to sanitation and quality activities as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote throughput of a quality finished product with minimum waste and downtime to meet production targets to meet our customer demand while maintaining safe work practices and food safety programs.

**Your assets for this position**

You have:

- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent diploma
- Previous food handling experience
- Ability to meet physical demands of material handling, working at heights, climbing stairs in a cold environment
- Quality conscious mindset and good attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work as part of a team and promote a positive work environment
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, changing priorities and work independently
- Effective communication skills in order to encourage solution based outcomes;
- A builder of teams and positive work environment

**Hours of work**:

- ** rotating 8 hour shifts between days, afternoons and nights**:

- ** shifts are Sunday night through Friday afternoon**:

- ** may include overtime opportunities on weekends**
