**In this role you will**:
- Create and modify accurate and consistent multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Be responsible for reviewing Bills of Materials and maintaining existing BOMs.
- Work with Engineering, Production and Purchasing teams to ensure that the BOMs have the correct structure as well as the correct components and quantities.
- Analyze all engineering change orders to ensure that each level of the multi-level BOM is revised in accordance with the requested change order.
- Be responsible for complete accuracy of the Bills of Materials in Microsoft Dynamics (MRP system).
- Understand the cost impact of changing BOMs with regards to production use, inventory values, variances, and cost of labor.
- Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to determine the impact of costing changes and update BoM’s accordingly.
- Participate in BOM related support for engineering, production and purchasing.
- Conduct regular and thorough reviews of existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Facilitate any discussions that are required to resolve issues relating to BOMs, part number creation and maintenance.
- Develop, coordinate, and publish part numbers for new products, including finished goods and sub-assemblies.
- Coordinate gathering of data for regulatory compliance, enforce part number creation structure guidelines and publish part numbers for raw materials.
- Provide backup to the Change Coordinator as required:
- ECO processing
- Forecast coordination
- Revision control

**This role might be right for you if you have**:
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar capacity
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to simplify complex topics in a professional and approachable manner.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as work independently/take initiative when needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to read and understand assembly drawings and BoM’s.
- Knowledge of GP Dynamics would be an asset
