Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Planner (Project Planning Manager) with expertise in the rail domain to join our team. As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing project plans, schedules, and budgets. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of projects within the rail industry. Your role will be crucial in maintaining project timelines, identifying potential risks, and providing effective solutions to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project objectives, deliverables, and constraints.
- Monitor project progress and identify any deviations from the plan, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks or issues.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, communicating updates and ensuring alignment among team members and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports, analyses, and recommendations to monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure the availability of resources, materials, and equipment necessary for project success.
- Manage change requests, assessing their impact on project scope, schedule, and budget, and communicate variations to relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met and address any concerns or conflicts.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements relevant to the rail domain, integrating them into project planning processes as applicable.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior project planners, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Project Planner, Project Planning Manager, or similar roles, specifically within the rail industry.
- Strong understanding of rail infrastructure planning, construction, and maintenance processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project-related issues effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build positive working relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership qualities, fostering a team-oriented and results-driven work environment.
