The Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordination of Mobile Equipment maintenance, Capital Asset Management and work order implementation.

This position is based out of Mobile Shop in North Bay, Ontario. The incumbent will be required to travel to sites for project start-ups, resolving specific process/training/equipment issues, demobilization, etc. Successful applicant will be required to successfully complete pre-employment drug, alcohol and medical evaluation.
- Implement and administer Capital Asset Maintenance Program.
- Develop, train and implementation of equipment maintenance plans for project sites including but not limited to:

- Maintenance processes
- Data collection requirements
- Work order templates
- Reporting
- Maintenance tooling
- Spare parts lists
- Upkeep of equipment processes, templates, data in the ERP and CAM systems
- Track daily efforts on work orders to ensure timeline, budget and labour is in line with estimate
- Develop and issue dashboards and reports for administrative and management purposes
- Assist field maintenance personnel with preventative and unplanned maintenance planning of mobile and fixed equipment.
- Project support, troubleshooting site equipment issues, project start-up/mobilization
- Ensure all required mechanical repairs, maintenance, testing, and installations are completed properly, i.e. to regulatory and company specifications, and on time

**Education and Experience**:

- Required: High School Diploma plus licensed trade
- Preferred: Degree or Diploma in mechanical or maintenance plus licensed trade
- Required: 10 years’ experience as a Master Mechanic
- Preferred: 10 years’ experience as a Maintenance Superintendent/Foreman

**Knowledge and Skills Required**:

- Asset Management knowledge/experience
- Extensive technical/mechanical knowledge of mining equipment and techniques
- High level of attention to detail
- Effective and creative thinker and problem solver
