Southcote 53 is looking for line cooks to join the team. Kitchen closes early, on site parking, and fun team environment to work in. Training provided.
**The Scope of the Role and Responsibilities are as follows**:
- Promotes Guest Satisfaction by ensuring all food is executed to standard
- Maintaining a spotlessly clean kitchen and back of house
- Adhering to all food handling and health & safety procedures
- Operate from Yes, and execute tasks as delegated by Kitchen Managers
- Contributing to an atmosphere of hard work, discipline, respectful communication, cooperation and positivity amongst all staff
- Ordering, hiring and weekly inventory
**Skills / Experience**
- Demonstrates a high level of self-discipline in work habits and work quality
- Good knife skills
- Good knowledge of cooking techniques and food equipment operation
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Time management and ability to multitask
- Thorough understanding of safe food handling
- Minimum of 1year prior experience in a line cook role
- Positive attitude and respectful demeanour
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-50 per week
**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Night shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
- Tips
**Experience**:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
