AHS is currently looking for a Health Promotion Facilitator II (HPFII) to join the Program Performance and Impact (PPI) Division that supports Provincial Population and Public Health (PPPH) strategy, priority setting and engagement, and integrated planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting. Reporting to the Team Lead - Planning and Project Management within the Strategy and Planning Department, the HPFII will provide project/program planning and project management support to teams across PPPH. Key activities may include development and monitoring of project charters and schedules, facilitation of working groups or project teams, evidence gathering/synthesis and development of deliverables). In this role, you will collaborate with project teams from across PPPH as well as colleagues in the Performance and Health Marketing and Engagement Departments within PPI. The position will help coordinate efforts to deliver population-based interventions and integrate health equity considerations across PPPH and in partnership with public health zones. Duties will include: project management of key PPPH projects in alignment with strategic plans; supporting business planning for PPPH; and completing a variety of knowledge translation projects synthesizing evidence and information from multiple sources into deliverables. Duties may also include supporting the facilitation of strategic planning at the PPPH-Zone level and PPPH Division level. This position is eligible for hybrid/remote work arrangements located anywhere in Alberta and a modified work week schedule. The position offers excellent professional development and networking opportunities, as it supports staff and leadership across all health content areas in PPPH.

**Description**:
As a Health Promotion Facilitator II, you will lead and coordinate health promotion, disease and injury prevention initiatives and programs using a population health promotion approach. You will identify behavioural, social, political, economic, environmental and organizational factors that promote or compromise health and recommend evidence-informed strategies to address identified priorities. You will conduct situational analyses, literature reviews, environmental scans and focus groups to make recommendations as part of an integrated program planning and evaluation process. You will manage projects using standardized tools and techniques that are conducive or aligned with health promotion, disease and injury prevention practices. You will collaborate with key internal and external key stakeholders in project or program planning, development, implementation, evaluation and improvement. You will facilitate community and staff engagement and build community and staff capacity around population health promotion priorities. You will evaluate the effectiveness of existing health promotion and disease prevention strategies and make recommendations.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of master's degree in Health Promotion, Public or Population Health, Health Education or a related field.
