**You in this role**:
Work with a collaborative, dynamic team of expert marketing and communications professionals supporting bold climate action at the local level.
The Communications Advisor, Green Municipal Fund, initiative plays a strategic role within GMF’s Communications unit by developing and executing communications and marketing strategies, plans and services that showcase the value and impact of GMF’s corporate initiatives. In this role, you’ll produce clear, compelling, and message-focused strategic communications and marketing products centred around attracting private investment in best-in-class scalable sustainability projects, demonstrating GMF’s value as a source of funding and knowledge products for municipalities, demonstrating best practices in corporate environmental, social and governance, and an employer of choice. This will include developing integrated earned, owned and paid marketing campaigns, producing web content, marketing collateral, e-communications, social media, digital advertising campaigns and more. The Communications Advisor, GMF Brand and Corporate Communications, is also responsible for day-to-day writing and copy-editing needs, along with providing general communications and branding advice to internal teams to ensure GMF’s content reaches and resonates with our key audiences. To be successful here, you’ll need strong project management skills, the ability to work with cross-departmental teams a flexible approach, and the ability to track and measure results across marketing and communications platforms.

**What you’ll be doing**:
- Provides strategic communications and marketing advice and oversees the implementation of communications and marketing workplans.
- Oversees the development and delivery of communications products (English/French) to advance GMF’s corporate objectives and initiatives.
- Supports delivery of communications campaigns to attract private finance investors, under the supervision of the Manager, GMF Brand and Corporate Communications.
- Provides senior writing and editing services for a broad range of communications and promotional products, including key messages, website and social media content, e-communication, publications, presentations and annual reports.
- Coordinates and oversees work assignments with external suppliers, such as editors, graphic designers and translators.
- Leads the monitoring and evaluation of marketing and communication activities, related to corporate-level initiatives, including the analysis of analytics related to social media and our website, to ensure continuous improvements in the development and dissemination of program information and resource
