The Yukon is a magical destination. Previously voted cleanest air in the world by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Most Entrepreneurial Mid-Sized City in Canada by Canadian Federation of Small Independent Business. Whitehorse, the capital city at approximately 33,000 people, is large enough community that has the creature comforts of a city but small enough to be a large part of the community if you so choose (ie walk down the street and get honked at by people you know driving by or be a part of one of the over 600 non-profit organizations up here). If you prefer even smaller than the next largest community is Dawson City at 1500 year around people. Additionally, living in the North comes with tax break incentives and funding support for individuals and families which makes it even more attractive especially in light of Whitehorse being just over a two-hour flight from Vancouver or Edmonton

**ABOUT THE COMPANY**

Northern Vision Development (NVD) is a private real estate partnership, was established in 2004 with a mandate to acquire and operate income producing properties the Yukon. Since then, NVD expanded outside of Whitehorse with investments in Carcross, Carmacks, Dawson City, and Mayo, while still growing it’s Whitehorse base. NVD is now one of the largest Commercial Leasing and Hospitality Operators in the Yukon comprised of over 48% First Nation ownership totaling 7 hotels, 5 restaurants, and approximately 150,000 sq ft of leasable commercial and residential real estate. **JOB OVERVIEW**

The Real Estate Administration Assistant position is an integral part of the Real Estate division and is responsible for the day-to-day management of tenant relations and provides services to NVD’s diverse range of tenants, clients, and contractors.

**Responsibilities**
- Filters out tenant’s requests, issues or complaints and either resolves them directly or refers the complaint to manager and/or team members as appropriate;
- Drafts residential and commercial real estate leases and other related documents;
- Provides notice to tenants, owners and suppliers;
- Assists in getting quotes from contractors or suppliers;
- Assists Real Estate team with property inspections;
- Takes pictures of buildings/units and creating flat sheet for advertising;
- Maintains and manages all keys and electronic fobs including sign-out/sign-in, reprogramming, creating, and documenting all security touch points;
- Maintains and ensures accuracy of the door programming at NVD properties;
- Documents move-in & move-out reports;
- Gathers/Draws/Maintains floor plans for all properties;
- Assists Real Estate team in preparing Board Meeting Packages and attends Board Meetings, takes and files minutes at meetings;
- Collects and files up-to-date documents from all existing Tenants;
- Creates letters, documents and reports;
- Assists in organizing meetings and events;
- Files various office documents; including managing, developing and implementing filing standards;
