Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Grocery Store Stock Assistant to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and Processing Inventory: Unpack products received by the store, count, weigh or sort items, and maintain computerized stock inventory.
  • Stocking Shelves: Ensure shelves and display areas are fully stocked and well-organized, with products facing forward and easily accessible to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, directing customers to locations of sought articles, and offering assistance when needed.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the stockroom and surrounding areas clean and tidy, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; experience is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Physical Abilities: Standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling required.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) safely and efficiently.
