To support our ambitious 5-year strategic plan, we’re looking for a motivated and dynamic Project Coordinator to join our growing team.
**About the Role**
As a **Project Coordinator** at Moby, you will play a pivotal role in driving our operational success by organizing, managing, and supporting key projects across our telecommunications services. You’ll be a crucial link between our teams, ensuring seamless execution and helping us achieve our goal of becoming the preferred choice for fibre optic solutions in Alberta.
**What You’ll Do**
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project charters, schedules, and scope of work.
- Coordinate and update project timelines, milestones, and schedules.
- Track and manage resources, including materials, tools, and personnel availability.
- Liaise with vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
- Act as a communication bridge between the PM, contractors, field technicians, and stakeholders.
- Organize and distribute meeting minutes, project updates, and reports.
- Monitor project progress in Projects and CRM tools, ensuring tasks stay on track.
- Conduct site surveys at multiple job locations in and around Calgary, ensuring accurate assessments and documentation.
- Collect and organize site survey data, inspection reports, and technician feedback.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain work order reports for technicians and contractors.
- Identify and report potential risks or delays, proposing solutions for mitigation.
- Escalate significant issues to the PM while resolving minor operational conflicts.
- Coordinate site access permissions, utility locates, and inspections.
- Oversee logistics, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and availability of tools.
- Verify compliance with company and regulatory standards, including safety protocols.
- Support field technicians with accurate project documentation and troubleshooting logístical issues.
- Suggest and document workflow improvements to enhance project efficiency.
- Maintain records of lessons learned from projects for continuous process improvement.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior team members or new hires.
- Ensure proper filing of compliance and safety documentation, including Field-Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA).
- Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth coordination between office operations and field activities.
**What We’re Looking For**
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably within telecommunications, technology, or a related field.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, coupled with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience in telecommunications or direct sales support is an asset.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel.

**Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
