Sales Executive

Are you an outgoing and driven individual who is excited about sales? Well, we’re looking for a **Sales Executive** to work on our Personal Lines Sales Team in our offices located in St. John’s, NL or Dartmouth, NS. You will engage with customers, prospects and leads to help provide them with a tailored-made product and a customized solution from one of our many insurance markets. Every day is going to be different, and it will be exciting.

**About You**
We like our people to have a combination of ivy league brains (but it’s ok if you haven’t attended an ivy league university, or any university for that matter) with blue collar work ethic. You have worked in sales, ideally as a broker for a few years. You’re a driven and organized sales person who pays close attention to details and can switch from task to task at a moment's notice. You have a passion for sales and are really good at it Ideally you sales experience is in the world of personal lines insurance. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can maintain a professional approach always; systematically highlighting benefits and overcoming objections as you work to close the sale. You are driven to win but to also provide the very best service and experience. Essentially, you're a self-starter driven by the desire to help you succeed.
**Job Duties**
As a Sales Executive, you will:
- Qualify and take incoming calls, and follow up on digital leads - providing quotes and driving policy sales;
- Develop and manage your pipeline of opportunities, following up on leads and quotes - moving opportunities from lead to qualified prospect to customer;
- Investigate the prospect’s needs to determine a tailor made solution just for them;
- Collaborate with Commercial and Service colleagues to achieve cross-selling opportunities;
- Act as an ambassador for Munn Insurance by always representing and promoting our brand and business in a positive way to our key stakeholders, including customers, prospects, insurance partners, and suppliers;
- Be an active and positive contributor to our fantastic culture, which is focused on teamwork, service excellence, innovation, initiative, community, and fun, which helps make Munn Insurance a great place to work;
- Of course, assist in other duties as required.
**Job Requirements**
- 3+ years of sales experience
- 3-5 years of insurance experience
- Level 1 General Insurance License in NL and NS
