North Bay, Canada Community Counselling Centre of Nipissing Full time

This is a monthly volunteer position. **If you have skills or experience in any of the following areas, we'd love to hear from you**:
Organizational development: You are interested in the development of the whole organization and will help us respond to change effectively. You will work with us to help ensure that all parts of the organization are well-coordinated in order to solve the problems and opportunities spurred by change.

Human Resources: You have an understanding of employment and workplace administration, including benefit programs, and an appreciation for the organizational components required to help ensure internal health and great service.

Fundraising/Marketing: You have experience in donor solicitation and stewardship, and/or a creative spirit with an enthusiasm for words, eye-catching imagery, and exciting campaigns centred on kids, family, and community.

Financial management: You are great at managing money or interested in learning more You aspire to help us in our planning strategies so we can clients who need us most

Community development and advocacy: You have a passion for people - your neighbours and fellow citizens within our local neighbourhoods. You are on fire to build strong networks and communities and will help rally support to implement lasting change.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in monthly board meetings and provide input on strategic decisions
- Review financial reports and budgets
- Act as an ambassador for the organization, promoting its mission and values
- Engage in outreach activities to expand the organization's network and partnerships

**Experience**:

- Previous experience serving on a board or committee is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of nonprofit governance practices and principles an asset
- Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Passion for the organization's mission and commitment to its success

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $0.10 per month

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift

Work Location: Hybrid remote in North Bay, ON P1B 1C9
