These positions are casual/on-call for short term assignments.

You must be available at least 3 days per week.

Assignments are in schools located across the TDSB.

This position ensures the safety and security of students during the lunch period at Elementary and Junior High Schools.

  • Experience working with children and setting up activities and programs that are age-relevant
  • A genuine interest in working with students
  • Proven record of attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to assume a wide variety of duties
  • Ability to communicate in a sensitive, courteous manner with students, parents, staff and the general public
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset

Rate of pay:

Supply hourly rate: $16.82

3.4% statutory holiday pay and 4% vacation pay are added to these rates

Temporary hourly rate after completing 30 days: $22.43

Rate effective October 1, 2023

Schedule: 1 hour and 15 minutes per day during the lunch period
