**Job Description**:
Tower Operator duties include but are not limited to:

- Manage work-flow to ensure customer promise times are met and the mechanical shop is run efficiently
- Dispatch work to service technicians to maximize shop productivity and efficiency
- Work closely with parts department and technicians to ensure all parts are ordered and job is completed quickly
- Meet frequently with the technicians to monitor work and keep up to date on status, quality, and overall technician efficiency
- Keep service advisors informed on repair progress for guests
- Work closely with sales department to ensure all internal work is completed in a timely fashion with regular communication with sales department
- Open, dispatch, and invoice new car PDI’s and Safety work orders
- Estimate the time required to complete service or repair for shop loading and overall efficiency
- Assist customers in the service drive by opening repair orders and listening to client’s concerns and inquiries
- Review technician work order write ups to ensure the work described has been correctly performed
- Help to meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets set by the dealership and Toyota Canada
- Assist Service Advisors with invoicing
- Follow safety policies and procedures
