**Vehicle Inspector **with a good eye for details to join our team. You'll be responsible for conducting vehicle assessments on-the-go, all while growing your skills. If this speaks to you, keep reading. We may have just the job for you
**Job Responsibilities:
- Verify vehicle identification.
- Enter basic vehicle identification information to database.
- Inspect vehicle equipment and options and document results.
- Assess and database enter any exterior vehicle damage.
- Inspect and enter condition of vehicle interior, tires, frame and mechanical components.
- Complete and verify data entry in support of documentation of vehicle condition.
- Write electronic condition report (ECR) on a variety of accounts.
- Utilize ECR equipment (Brick, PC, Terminal or PT) correctly describing both damage and equipment.
- Ability to take multiple, overall, and damage photos, match them to vehicle, and download to server.
- Able to quickly adapt and implement changes in account specific frame policies, account specific needs, new inspection types.
- Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.
- Perform and document walk around inspections in support of online vehicle exchange (OVE) process.
- Review completed vehicle condition reports with inspectors confirm and provide advice regarding report results.
- Driving to out of the gate locations to perform condition reports. Could drive up to 75% or more depending on the schedule.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and the necessary follow up repairs to Class 6-8 trucks in a shop environment.
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment.
- Diagnose, adjust, and repair various types of truck equipment.
- Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges.
- Use basic hand tools, precision instruments, as well as power tools, and jacks.
- Perform duties with little or no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to standard repair times.
- Participate and complete all-in company required safety training.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
**Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5 years experience in the automobile field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Strong technical understanding: body and paint with good organizational skills needed.
- Ability to multitask, follow directions and take instruction required. Advanced computer skills.
- Valid driver's license; safe driving record
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods of time; ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel; ability to lift and hold at least 10lbs at waist level for an extended period of-time; ability to lift-up to 30 lbs.

**Responsabilités:
- Déterminer les dommages, les pièces manquantes et les problèmes mécaniques en inspectant tous les véhicules des clients au moment de la réception (c.à-d., inspecter l'intérieur, l'extérieur, le coffre, le compartiment moteur, et faire la lecture du compteur; noter tous les dommages et toutes les réparations au châssis, à la peinture, etc., les bruits du moteur; vérifier le fonctionnement du système de climatisation et de chauffage et de la radio, l'état des pneus, etc.)
- Documenter l'état du véhicule à l'aide des outils électroniques
- Estimer les coûts de réparation conformément aux directives appropriées.
- Préparer les véhicules sélectionnés en vue de leur affichage dans notre interface web en prenant des photos numériques durant le processus d'inspection et en rédigeant les rapports d'état qui seront mis en ligne.
- Effectuer d'autres tâches assignées par le directeur ou le superviseur, y compris, sans toutefois s'y limiter, la localisation et le déplacement des véhicules, le démarrage ou le démarrage d'appoint des véhicules, le déneigement ou le déglaçage des véhicules, etc.
- Des heures supplémentaires peuvent être demandées (plus de 40 h/sem.), selon les besoins.
**Qualifications:
- Diplôme d'études secondaires
- Expérience précédente en milieu d'encan
- Un minimum de 3 à 5 années d'expérience dans le domaine automobile, en mécanique ou dans un atelier de carrosserie, ainsi que dans le domaine de la consignation et la résolution des plaintes, souhaitable.
