We are looking for a Quality Control Technician for our factory located in Saint-Eustache.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Performing various tests (Collecting and preparing samples, performing strength and absorption tests, concrete tests, etc.)
- Performing inspections (Visual and dimensional inspection of pipes, concrete, welding, etc.)
- Ensuring product quality (Monitoring the quality assurance program, finding ideas for improvement, enforcing work procedures, participating in the development of quality criteria, etc.)
- Providing administrative support (Completing inspection and non-conformity reports, following up with various stakeholders, etc.)

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Rigorous and methodical: the ideal quality control technician also has good interpersonal skills, since this role requires interacting with different members of the team.

**Training, experience and skills**:

- Hold the certification of welding supervisor or inspector by the CWB.
- Have a minimum of two years of experience as a welding inspector or in quality control.
- Excellent command of spoken and written French and English.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office; Word, Excell)
- Know the steps and tools of the inspection and testing processes.
- Ability to read and understand industrial drawings and plans;
- Knowledge of concrete and steel (an asset)
- General knowledge of the concept of a quality assurance program

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
