**OVERVIEW**

C3 Specialty Glazing Solutions is looking for a Construction Administrator who will provide administrative and logístical support to the Project Management team on commercial and institutional retrofitting projects. You will be accountable for purchasing, accounts receivable, project, tender and office administration and other accountabilities as assigned. Working closely with our dynamic and experienced management team, you will be part of a solutions-oriented team driven to succeed.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Purchasing

1. Identify vendors and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies.

2. Solicit competitive supplier quotes.

3. In collaboration project managers, evaluate cost and quality of goods and services.

4. Prepare and track purchase orders with established delivery schedules.

Accounts Receivable

1. In collaboration, manage accounts receivable processes, including cheque deposits.

2. Support timely monthly close and accuracy of accounting entries.

Project and Tender Administration

1. Create project start up documents: Bonds, Certificate of insurance, WSIB, Form 1000, Notice of Project.

2. In collaboration with the superintendents, support the set-up of the Project Safety Board.

3. In collaboration with the project managers, complete project close out packages, warranties.

4. Maintain company subcontractor database; points of contact, universal sub-contractor contracts, safety manuals, pre-qualifications forms; and up to date insurance documents.

5. Create and maintain project contact list of C3 employees.

Office Administration

1. Communicate with customers, employees, clients and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information and address requests.

2. Maintain correspondence, records, filing, inventory, mailing and database systems.

3. In collaboration with corporate office, process short-term and long-term disability forms and send to benefit provider for processing.

Business Expenses and Travel Logbooks

1. Maintain company vehicle, mileage, and travel logbooks.

2. Review and reconcile business expense reports and employee gas receipts in accordance with company policy.

Health and Safety

1. Schedule Health and Safety meetings and training events.

2. Document minutes of Health and Safety meetings.

3. Maintain up to date employee Health and Safety records and schedule training to ensure health and safety compliance.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**

You have a College Diploma in Office Administration or Construction Administration.

**Experience**

You have 2 plus years of construction administration.

You have a working knowledge of technical language used in construction.

**Skills**

Microsoft Office Suite - Level 3 - Intermediate to Advanced

**Abilities**

You have the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, manage multiple projects at the same time and relate well with managers, employees, contractors and clients.

You have the ability to maintain confidentiality and professional decorum at all times.

**Working Conditions**

The role is located in an office environment.

The role requires you to lift objects of up to 25 lbs., sit for extended periods of time, operate computers and other office equipment.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
