We are hiring a full-time, temporary
**Manager, Learning Systems** position working out of Edmonton, AB.

What you’d be responsible for

**Planning & Execution**
- Providing input to the Corporate Learning & Development operational plan and identifying objectives and priorities for the upcoming year.
- Ensuring there is understanding of the strategy across the team.
- Developing and implementing deliverables within the context of the Learning & Development Operational plan.
- Ensuring deliverables of direct report positions are aligned and integrated, and includes performance expectations and deliverable metrics.
- Anticipating challenges and obstacles to delivering the annual work plan.
- Identifying the necessary budget, resources, and staff required to deliver the annual work plan.
- Removing roadblocks and addressing problems and concerns as they come.
- Responding to shifts in priorities as required.

**Operational Excellence**:

- Managing EPCOR’s Learning Management Systems (LMS). Ensuring there is a single system of record for learning related information. Building tools, systems and workflows that are integrated with LMS and enabling program delivery.
- Monitoring and analyzing report development and identifying opportunities to improve processes and report delivery.
- Ensuring adherence to processes, procedures and standards.
- Identifying and implementing process changes to ensure effective, and efficient service delivery.

**Relationships & Collaboration**
- Collaborating on cross-functional initiatives with Health, Safety, & Environment and Information Services to identify, prioritize and manage technology enhancements from an Operational Technology perspective.
- Collaborating with customers, stakeholders and colleagues to create understanding and resolve issues or concerns.

What’s required to be successful
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, and/or Information Systems.
- Formal education in Project or Change Management is preferred.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a complex corporate environment.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred.
- Experience managing technology, systems and processes to enable learning program delivery.
- Knowledge of instructional design, facilitation and adult learning concepts is required.
- Experience directing, coaching and managing the performance of direct reports, colleagues or a project team.
