**Learning and Development Specialist **to assess, design, develop, implement, evaluate, and coordinate learning & development programs that enable growth through the enhancement of knowledge and skill of associates. This is a 1 year term position with full time hours.

**Salary: $85,000 Annually**

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Lead the development and delivery of learning and development activities for Fountain Tire businesses, including:

- Develop learning resources targeted at enhancing and promoting key competencies
- Design and develop program materials to capture content and promote transfer of learning
- Deliver learning and development programs using a blended learning approach
- Lead the administrative process of Fountain Tire’s internal management training program program (DRIVE) including maintenance of the DRIVE website, new applicant tracking and orientation, participant progress tracking and reporting, and rewards and recognition for graduates
- Support logístical aspects of learning events including facility management, budgeting and expenses, vendor management, registration and delivery of training materials
- Identify and organize ongoing support and maintenance of learning management software system (BIS Trainer) and intranet as required

**What you need**:

- Advanced knowledge of the assessment, design, development, delivery and evaluation of blended learning
- Related post-secondary education and a minimum 5 years of progressive experience; a combination of education and experience will be considered
- Demonstrated skill in facilitation
- Demonstrated skill in event management is an asset
- Experience implementing and managing eLearning management systems; knowledge of BIS Trainer considered an asset
