**Job Summary & Purpose**:
Albourne Partners (Canada) Limited is looking for a **Sustainable Investing Associate Analyst.** The Sustainable Investing Associate Analyst will be tasked with the production of Sustainable Investing ("SI") research and analytics for individual funds and clients portfolios. Generally, they will also contribute to delivering the SI Team accountabilities and contribute to the ongoing development of the SI Teams outputs and other ad hoc projects and initiatives as required.

**Accountabilities**:
Contribute toward, along with other Sustainable Investing Team colleagues, the following:

- Ongoing refinement, maintenance, and management of sustainability due diligence research instruments, including handling of secondary referrals of manager queries and the review and publication of manager submissions. Management of other data sourcing, channels and internal handling. Conduct analysis and produce reports on insights from survey data.
- Sustainability-related due diligence on and the production of reports on funds and managers.
- Analysis and production of reports on clients portfolios using Albournes Sustainable Investing data, analytics and research.
- Production, presentation or delivery, as appropriate, of Sustainable Investing advisory services to clients.
- Provision of training, advice and guidance to colleagues, and otherwise contribute to the production, ongoing development and quality assurance of Sustainable Investing outputs by other teams or functions.
- Maintenance of Albournes information systems with accurate and timely information, including meeting notes, recommendations, presentations, and other board material. Ensure that client material is stored in commonly accessible areas as directed.
- Management of the client interface.
- Support of business strategic initiatives as required.
- Coordination of interactions with industry and regulatory bodies.
- Production of written and media collateral.
- Management of technology projects and related interactions with Technology colleagues.
- Management of Sustainable Investing supplier relationships.
- Coordination of the Sustainable Investing Teams interaction with other business functions, including Legal and Compliance, Finance, Client Services, and Communications.
- General administration of the Sustainable Investing Team and their activities.
- Other ad hoc activities, as directed by the Line Manager or their delegate.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- University graduate or equivalent.
- Up to 2 years of work experience as an analyst (including but not limited to any one or more of due diligence, investment, operational, financial, risk) in investment consulting, investment management or other financial or investment institutions or organizations, including fund managers and asset managers.
- Regulatory registration (dependent on regional requirements).
- Experience in sustainable finance or sustainable investing is not essential but would be advantageous.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Qualitative and quantitative research skills or willingness and aptitude to develop such capabilities.
- Willingness to pursue, or progression towards, a relevant professional financial qualification (e.g. CFA, CAIA, ACA/ACCA, CPA), or a sustainability-related qualification or degree.
- Abide by the Portfolio Group policies and procedures as well as the Albourne Groups policies and procedures, including but not limited to compliance reporting, HFDB filing, Information, Communications & Cyber Security Policy, Expense & Travel Policy, etc.
- Proactive self-starter, with proficient time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
