We have an opportunity for an individual who thrives at business development and is passionate about paving the path to digitalization and autonomous operation by providing cutting-edge digitalization technology solutions to our Mining & Mineral Processing customers. As the Business Development Manager, you will leverage this passion along with your proven track record of selling-value added products to successfully introduce these technologies to both new and existing industry customers with a focus on Eastern Canada.

**Responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following**:

- Assesses, evaluates, establishes, and develops opportunities in the Mining & Mineral Processing industry.
- Initiates, builds, and enhances relationships with customers and strategic partners.
- Drives achievable growth in sales forecasting and planning.
- While working closely with the Operations team, leads the definition, development, and execution of sales growth strategies and sales / marketing campaigns to achieve organizational objectives.
- Gathers, reviews and analyzes information to develop recommendations for new and existing products, innovations and improvement initiatives.
- Develops and delivers effective presentations and demonstrations on the value of our offerings to customers and to close sales.
- Tracks progress and maintains effective, professional communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders throughout the business development and sales cycle.
- Networks with industry groups and professional organizations to establish the presence and reputation of the company.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgy, Automation, Electrical, or similar)
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in automation or mining and mineral processing
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and business development
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in mining and mineral processing
- Automation and optimization knowledge
- Proven presentation, relationship building, and sales skills
- Resourceful, self-managed, and goal driven but still able to work effectively in a team
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills
- Travel (estimated 50%) within North America; driver's license and valid passport mandatory.
- Established network of mining and mineral processing contacts in Eastern Canada
- Fluency in both English and Canadian French

- Analyser, évaluer, établir et développer des opportunités dans l’industrie de l’exploitation minière et du traitement des minerais.
- Initier, bâtir et améliorer les relations avec les clients et les partenaires stratégiques.
- Favoriser une croissance réalisable dans la prévision et la planification des ventes.
- Tout en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe des opérations, diriger la définition, le développement et l'exécution des stratégies de croissance des ventes et des campagnes de vente/marketing pour atteindre les objectifs de l'organisation.
- Recueillir, examiner et analyser l’information en vue de formuler des recommandations pour les produits nouveaux et existants, les innovations et les initiatives d'amélioration.
- Élaborer et réaliser des présentations et des démonstrations efficaces sur la valeur de nos offres pour les clients et afin de conclure des ventes.
- Faire un suivi des progrès et maintenir une communication efficace et professionnelle avec toutes les parties prenantes internes et externes concernées tout au long du cycle de développement des affaires et des ventes.
- Réseauter avec des groupes et des organisations professionnelles de l’industrie pour concrétiser la présence et la réputation de l'entreprise.
- Baccalauréat en ingénierie (chimie, métallurgie, automatisation, électricité ou similaire)
- Minimum de 10 ans d'expérience en automatisation ou dans le domaine de l'exploitation minière et du traitement des minerais
- Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans la vente et le développement des affaires
- Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans l
