**MANAGER OF PARTNERSHIPS**
**SUMMARY**:
Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer the Manager of Partnerships will assist in the advancement of SNGRDC’s strategy by pursuing new partnership opportunities that align with SNGRDC's vision, values, and profit objectives.
The position will become the primary contact for SNGRDC partnerships and will focus on identifying and sourcing new partnerships and/or joint ventures through networking and leveraging the SNGRDC brand and experience. Key areas include monitoring the financial performance of existing partnerships and assessing new business sectors, procurement opportunities, and vertical integration with the goal of generating near-term cash flows. The Manager will be responsible for conducting industry research, attending partnership meetings, corporate profiling, report writing, and other due diligence requirements.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Evaluate, monitor, and report on the performance of existing partnerships.
- Explore revenue-generating partnerships, joint ventures, and other strategic opportunities.
- Manage a pipeline of partners including identifying, prospecting, outreach, assessment, alignment, negotiations & close.
- Create a positive partner experience driving excitement and growth.
- Develop business models and concepts to gain access to Indigenous procurement opportunities.
- Prepare partnership opportunity analysis, reports, and recommendations for the Executive Team and/or President/CEO
- Assist with business development aimed at increasing the corporation’s network of potential partners across all activities.
- Where appropriate, participate in meetings with external parties, including legal counsel, and financial advisors.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.

**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE***
Minimum Requirements:
- Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum three (3) years demonstrated experience in sales and/or new business development.
- Ability to analyze industry data, conduct research and prepare reports, statements, and projections.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to present at conferences and tradeshows and facilitate group meetings.
- Must demonstrate high-level of initiative, self‑direction and ability to work independently.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, analyze, conceptualize, and complete tasks.
- Must be bondable and pass a police background check.
- Flexible availability (extra hours may be required on occasion).

Error in judgement may lead to loss of credibility, poor public relations, loss of public confidence and misinformation resulting in embarrassment and potential liability to the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation and the Six Nations Community.
