Safety Systems Manager

Working with the Director Safety and Risk Solutions, the Safety Systems Manager is responsible for Aramark Canada’s OHS management system and for championing the use of data-driven safety support decisions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate internally and externally to establish and maintain national OHS systems
- When necessary, work with internal teams or third-party partners to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), training programs, etc.
- Partner with SRS Regional Managers, Food Safety and other stakeholders to address development needs, execute awareness strategies and evaluate effectiveness of programs
- Provide support to SRS Regional Managers regarding day-to-day prevention and risk management strategies, offering guidance and coordinating safety and risk matters.
- Participate in departmental and cross-functional projects that contribute to the smooth execution and sustainability of SRS management system and SAFE standards
- Offer field support, as required, such as during large-scale openings, program piloting, or crisis situations
- Collaborate with the Global Risk Analytics team to design and communicate data to support program improvement and business needs.
- Independently generate monthly, weekly and ad-hoc reports, including key business metrics reports, performance reports and dashboards and convey analysis results effectively to various audiences
- Address the data and analysis requirements for Safety & Risk Solutions Canada, including managing account creation, maintenance, user inquiries, and training.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in OHS, science or related discipline
- 7+ years of occupational safety experience including hands on experience in development, and management of H&S Standards and systems (e.g., ISO, CSA, COR, ISNNET)
- Strong knowledge of Canadian H&S regulations with experience working in a multi-provincial / national organization preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis and risk management
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and exposure to Access, SPSS, SAS, SQL, or similar
- Strong Communication skills, both written and spoken, and the ability to influence key stakeholders
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- CRSP designation (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) or other related safety designation is considered an asset
- Ability to travel within Canada (up to 10%)
