**DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION: ACCOUNT MANAGER- BEAUTY & LIFESTYLE**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Creative and rigorous, with an analytical, strategic mind, the Account Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing public relation campaigns, influencer marketing and impactful digital communications for bicom’s clients. In addition, they’ll be tasked with finding innovative solutions and strategies adaptable to client objectives.

More specifically, the role will assume the following responsibilities:
**Strategic Business Planning**
- Support and drive PR thinking, innovation and development within the agency
- Understanding industry and sector trends as they relate to clients and how to integrate into overall account management
- Understanding the competitive landscape for clients and taking it in consideration when planning and managing accounts in order to successfully manage the client’s interest
- Establish performance indicators and track results to create comprehensive measurement plans

**Account management**
- Lead the strategic planning of client accounts with support from Senior Management
- Oversee and operate multiple accounts
- Manage customer relationships and conduct problem resolution
- Ensure all management and process tools: weekly recaps, follow-up calls, coverage sharing, budgets, reports
- Write deliverables and other strategic plans in a compelling and creative manner and be accountable for results

**Business Development**
- Develop work proposals for all agency services (including strategies, tactics and budget) and present them to the clients
- Develop case studies demonstrating the agency’s capabilities and success in various campaigns across all service categories
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing clients
- Support the business development team by participating in brainstorms and preparing presentations and pitches.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Agency experience required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in public relations and client relations
- Very good knowledge of the beauty, lifestyle and business industries
- Expertise in various social media platforms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (bilingualism required)
- Experience in Quebec AND English Canada

- Type of position: Full-time, flexible schedule as needed;
- Start date: As soon as possible
