**JOB SUMMARY**

AGLC is looking for a dynamic, professional individual to join our Strategic Planning Branch.

As AGLC’s next Enterprise Risk Analyst, you will work as a key contributor in AGLC’s second line of defense, reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management. Working collaboratively with business lines and other corporate and risk functions, you will partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure a consistent and integrated approach is applied to managing risk including the following portfolio responsibilities: Enterprise Risk Management; Fraud Risk Management; Legislative Compliance; and Corporate Sustainability.

The key to your success is being able to build and maintain productive relationships with individuals from all levels and backgrounds, so extensive communication and coordination skills are as important as knowledge.

You will support the organization's shift to becoming more innovative in how we do our work with an understanding of both risk and opportunity, and how to respond without stifling innovation.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise, and accurate manner for various audiences. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills in order to meet reporting timelines. You will have superior computer skills and learn quickly with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Understanding how to develop, document and test controls would be an asset.

Your key responsibilities are:

- Contributing to the design, implementation, and monitoring of processes and procedures, guidelines, tools, templates, training and other support for the portfolio.
- Developing and continuously improving reporting provided to the Audit & Finance Committee.
- Supporting and facilitating training with management and staff to increase their knowledge and skills with risk identification, prioritization and responses.
- Determining and recommending key risk indicators, thresholds, triggers and escalations for monitoring and tracking risks at various levels.
- Collaborating with colleagues in strategic and business planning process to ensure risks and opportunities are identified and responses determined.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- A University degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or a related field and 2 years or more of relevant and/or transferable experience in risk management, including a strong ability to negotiate and facilitate discussions is required.
- Equivalences can be accepted with a Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce or other related discipline with 4 years or more of relevant and/or transferable experience in risk management, including a strong ability to negotiate and facilitate discussions is required.
- Regulation, legal and compliance experience. The ability to interpret legislation and regulations is an asset.
- Recognized designation/certification from a professional risk management program is desirable.
- Professional accounting designation and/or internal audit designation would be an asset.
- Fraud risk management and corporate sustainability (Environmental, Social, Governance) experience would be an asset.
- Gaming, Liquor or Cannabis industry knowledge would be an asset.
