Legal Receptionist Job Description

**Duties**:

- Greet clients and visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or office
- Answer and screen phone calls, take messages, and schedule appointments
- File and maintain client records and legal documents
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and scanning
- Coordinate projects and assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Enter orders into QuickBooks and other software programs
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness

**Requirements**:

- Legal Administrative Assistant diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is highly recommended
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
