**Your Opportunity**:
We are seeking a Unit Manger to join our busy and dynamic team in the Child & Adolescent Tertiary Mental Health Program at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital (Unit’s 301, 302 and the Transitional Youth Classroom).

**Description**:
Our area sees a large and diverse population. In this position you will have the opportunity to have a direct and positive impact on the trajectories of children, youth, and families. In this role you will be a clinical leader, mentor and advocate, supporting your staff and working with physicians in providing high quality patient-centered care. In collaboration with the Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading change management and quality improvement, promoting team development, and coordinating and managing staffing and clinical services. You will also be responsible for clinical supervision, recruitment, budget management, and appraisals for staff. As the care manager you will also be responsible for supporting staff, building knowledge and capacity, influencing change and building confidence for change. As the care manager, you will possess skills in critical and analytical thinking, decision-making, communication, teamwork, prioritization, time management, advocacy and conflict management. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a passion in team engagement, coaching, and professional development including the ability to foster a climate of cooperation and collaboration building solid relationships between inter-professional team members. **Required Qualifications**:
Registration with a professional association/college is required. Minimum of 5 years of front-line experience with demonstrated informal leadership competencies (e.g. participation on committees/projects, leading peers, consulting to management, conducting education, sitting on external boards, involvement with professional association etc.). Demonstrated experience working with physicians.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Previous management experience in a progressive environment is required.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Master’s degree in health services discipline, i.e. Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, and Nursing preferred. Preference given to experience in child & adolescent mental health program supervision and inter-sectoral partnerships.
