Equals Brewing Company was founded in 2018 and has quickly grown to be a well-respected partner in producing great beers, ciders, and ready-to-drink products for many of Ontario’s and Canada’s favourite breweries and brands. Equals launched Bangarang Hard Seltzer in 2020, which has grown to be one of the fastest-growing RTD brands in Ontario. In 2021, Equals launched Shake Lager, which won a gold medal in its first appearance in the Canadian Brewing Awards.

**Role Summary**

This position is responsible for the coordination and smooth operations of activation and sampling events. As the leader of the experiential team, this individual will provide guidance and support to the team and focus on getting our products into the customer's hands and creating a memorable experience. This position requires someone who is fun, organized, adventurous, and able to exemplify the brand

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the coordination, planning, and execution of branded events across Ontario that support marketing initiatives and brand awareness.
- Responsible for the set-up, orientation, and tear-down of each event. Providing assistance and guidance to team members for the entire duration of the event.
- Act as a brand ambassador by actively engaging with consumers at events and other activations such as concerts, festivals, markets, samplings, and more.
- Lead and work with the team to provide an exciting and memorable experience for everyone interacting with our brand.
- Take ownership of the vehicle, product, and equipment to ensure it is consistently in good working order and clean.
- Work with the team to determine what and the quantity of products to bring to each event. Manage the inventory of products and event equipment.
- Serve products to customers at events and activation sampling by following the venue requirements per event.
- Provide weekly reports that regard the sampling numbers, consumer feedback, competition updates, and team review of events.
- Monitor each product being served to ensure the quality of each product and provide quality tasting experience for consumers.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to support initiatives, complete required duties and tasks as assigned, and provide advice and interpretations to support innovation.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organization skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Previous experience working in events, serving/bartending, marketing, and/or customer service
- Photography experience or education considered and asset
- Strong competency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office
- Passion to join the beverage industry, specifically working with RTD/Beer/Spirits
- Smart Serve Certification is required
- Passionate about Side Launch, Bangarang, and Shake Lager products and shown desire and initiative to tell it to everyone
- Experience with social media and marketing would be considered an asset

**Working Conditions**:

- Flexibility required for hours of work and shift lengths
- Due to the nature of the position and events, schedule times may vary. Schedules will fluctuate between Monday-Friday and Wednesday-Sunday depending on such events.
- May be required to lift items up to 20+ lbs.
- Working onsite in Toronto and London offices from time to time

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
