**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
he primary objective of the role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of recruiting, training, and retaining early childhood educators. The role will support the ELCC Training and Development Manager, and MNBC’s mandate and vision of Early Learning and Childcare programming, initiatives, and services for Métis families across the province.

The Language Program Administrator provides multifaceted support for the development and distribution of various learning opportunities, resources, and initiatives to preserve and promote Métis culture and language. This includes aiding in the design of learning resources and engagement opportunities, coordinating contracts with resource developers and facilitators, managing financial records, and providing support to citizens and contractors for effective coordination of events and programming. Additionally, the Language Program Administrator is expected to conduct research and engage in relationship building with citizens, Michif language champions and like-minded institutions to stay apprised of best practices in language revitalization resource development and program delivery. Building relationships with stakeholders, promoting cultural competency, and participating in professional learning opportunities are also part of the responsibilities.
