As a design-first company, they produce unique pieces for the home each season including items such as wall art, furniture, lighting and home decor accessories. We are looking for aManager, Key Retail Accounts who is adaptable and focused for theirSurreylocation.

We are seeking a Manager, Key Accounts to join their team, a leading furniture wholesaler selling to retail accounts across Canada & the United States. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key retail accounts, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction

and loyalty.

Develop a deep understanding of each client's business model, objectives, and unique needs to provide tailored solutions and exceed sales targets.

Actively seek out new business opportunities, proactively prospecting and expanding the customer base within the retail sector.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, logistics, and customer support, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and exceptional customer service.

Conduct regular business reviews and present strategic insights and recommendations to retail accounts, guiding them on product selection, pricing, and marketing strategies.

Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and promotional campaigns, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term partnerships.

Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, leveraging this knowledge to drive sales growth and maintain a competitive edge.

Effectively utilize CRM systems and other sales tools to manage and track customer interactions, sales pipelines, and account performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven track record of 3 to 5 years in key account management, specifically within the furniture wholesale with demonstrated success selling to retail accounts.

Strong knowledge of the furniture market, including product trends, pricing structures, and key competitors.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and influence buying decisions.

Proactive and results-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic approach to identifying growth opportunities and resolving challenges.

Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems and sales-related software.

Willingness to travel as required to meet with retail accounts and attend industry trade shows.
