As a Website Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence and ensuring that our website remains a valuable resource for our clients, prospects, and partners. This role requires technical expertise, creativity, and strong communication skills to manage and optimize our website effectively.
**As a Website Manager your responsibilities will include**:
**Website Maintenance and Optimization**:
- Ownership of a website rebuilding project, collaborating closely with a web development agency to ensure a seamless transition and the successful revamping of our digital platform.
- Ensure the website is up-to-date, visually appealing, and user-friendly.
- Monitor and improve website performance.
- In partnership with the Communications team, Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
**Leadership and Collaboration**:
- Lead a team of two digital marketers, providing guidance, setting clear objectives, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Work closely with marketing teams to align website content with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT, resources at Grant Thornton International, and other partners for technical improvements and integrations.
**User Experience (UX)**:
- Continuously improve the user experience by conducting user testing and gathering feedback to make data-driven improvements.
**Analytics and Reporting**:
- Monitor website analytics, track key performance indicators, and report on website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Use data insights to make informed decisions and propose improvements.
**Media Integration**:
- Manage and integrate media campaigns with the website, ensuring the backend is connected and measuring campaign metrics.
**Technical Support**:
- Address and resolve technical issues related to the website promptly.
- Collaborate with external web developers as necessary.
**Compliance and Security**:
- Ensure the website complies with relevant industry regulations, including data protection and privacy.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Responsible for ensuring the website maintains compliance with web accessibility standards, including WCAG, fostering an inclusive online experience.

**Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Website Manager? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick**:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, web development, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in website management
- Solid understanding of web design, development, and content management systems (CMS).
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and creating dashboards
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of website accessibility standards (WCAG) and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills by efficiently planning, organizing, and executing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Experience working in a professional services industry, particularly in an accounting or financial services firm would be considered an asset
